“They’re not cartoons,” Leah said defensively, “animated shows from Japan differ greatly from their American counterparts, especially when it comes to target audience. Take Akira for example-“

“Listen, the less I know about your ching-chang shows the better,” Donna laughed.

“Your ignorance is infuriating, you know that?”

“As is your lack of taste, Leah. Really, silver pumps?”

“At least I don’t have plastic tits,” Leah snapped.

“Will the both of you shut up?” Bree interjected from behind her paperback, slapping it closed and huffing indignantly.

“Go to hell, Barns & Noble brat” Donna yelled.

“Oh it’s on,” Bree said, “It’s on.”
